About Me
I grew up in Dallas, Texas with many scorching summer days and lots of Cowboys fans (I ironically root for the Eagles). Growing up, I loved my English classes the most because they gave me the opportunity to write and tell stories. I decided I wanted to become a journalist my senior year of high school because it seemed like a career with less risk than trying to author books! I fell in love with hearing about people's stories and being able to explain them to the broader public in a concise and compelling way. I didn't know how my career would lead me to learn much more beyond reporting and writing. Being a journalist also has made me into an expert in public relations, content management, content strategy and many other skills. I value the art of storytelling, of explaining complex subjects to people and of practicing communications at the highest level. I currently work as a tech reporter at The Wall Street Journal in San Francisco after starting my career out at newspapers in Texas. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin.
